“To anyone thinking of inviting Kathleen Puls Andrade and Nancy Howland Walker to your campus, DO IT!  Our students still talk about what a great experience it was working with these two talented, thoughtful, incisive and FUNNY women.  Both Nancy and Kathleen are so down-to-earth, honest, encouraging, and charming that our students fell in love with them.  Before they even left for the airport students were asking “When can they come back?”  Kathleen’s comfortable demeanor with the students in the intimate setting of the voiceover recording studio was pitch perfect.  She was forthright, yet nurturing in her approach to instructing students about voiceover technique and the intricacies of the business, often using humor to provide very useful critiques.  Nancy, on the other hand, worked with much larger groups in her improvisation and musical improvisation classes, yet, like Kathleen, she seemed to make a personal connection with every single person in the room.  She was a hilarious and informative ball of energy, encouraging students to take chances and discover talents they didn’t even know they possessed.  All in all, this is a great team.  Bring them to your campus!  You will be glad you did.”

“Kathleen is a top notch instructor. Not only does she know her stuff, she really cares about the larger goals of her students and is passionate about helping them reach them. So awesome to have enthusiasm, quality, and commitment from her.”
– Matt Hovde, Artistic Director, Second City Training Center, Chicago

“I just wanted to thank you for such an awesome workshop this Saturday; I came into it with no expectations except perhaps the idea that I might be inadequate, and came out feeling so confident and capable. Thank you for making each of us feel capable of doing voice acting and for removing the mystery of the process! I’m so grateful.”
-Alissa Klusky, Baylor University

“The voiceover workshop was very helpful. We don’t have any voiceover classes so getting to do voiceover in the workshop was great. It helps to introduce another way of acting, which I really appreciate. And the workshop made voiceover easy to understand and execute as well. Overall I had a great time!”
-Breshena Crosby, Baylor University

“I just wanted to say thank you for everything in our VO class. I know I’m nowhere near where I need to be but I’m definitely one step closer and you helped push me there. I also wanted to let you know that David Lewis reached out to me earlier this week with scripts to read for him as a demo. I also heard back yesterday from Chris Brooks regarding the Sigma Chi audition and will be working with him this summer! So truly thank you for helping me get started.”
–Myriam Raymond, Beginner and Advanced VO Student at Second City Training Center, Chicago

“Kathleen makes Advanced VO is a challenging yet highly enjoyable class. Taking me out of my comfort zone and pushing me where she knows I can be, Kathleen is a fantastic coach and teacher who provided me with a full toolbox to take with me after the class was over. I looked forward to going to class and bringing my best every time!”

-Lenore Luthern, Advanced VO Student, Second City Training Center Chicago

“For me, it’s instilling an approach. A process. From having a POV, to understanding the story of the script, to the energy and the smile. The technique is applicable in corporate life, and voiceovers. It’s critical, and I value and appreciate its importance.”
– Tony Compton, Advanced VO Student, Second City Training Center, Chicago
